very very fun, and durable little chopper. the peices the break though, are not the spares that are in the bag.this chopper took about 35 crash landings from loss of infa red reception, wind, tailspin, etc. then one of the weights snapped off and it was never able to fly again. . just dont crash, and youll have the time of your life. great battery life too!

After watching my brother-in-law playing with a mini copter in the house, I knew I had to get one(didn't realize there are so many choices out there). I chose this one because of the metal chassis, figuring it would hold up better to all the crashes plus it comes with spare blades.
Well...after hitting many obstacles, there are parts that break easily which after a lot of searching, are not available. Fortunately, Xheli is the only supplier I found in this Country that has the balance bar, blades, and tail rotor. If you break any piece of the top rotor section, you are out of luck.
One of the vendors mentioned that their customers buy more than one...the extra unit can be used for spare parts.
Very entertaining after a hard day at work but find one that has a wide range of spare parts such as the Syma brand.
Also, don't use it outside...the infrared remote does not work very well and before you know it, it takes off.

Out of the box I charged it right away. It was a bit different than my previous chopper. It is more difficult to balance but soon as you get the hang of it, it is cool. It will take a few flights to get the feeling of it but it is a very inexpensive toy for beginners.

Highly recommended.

Stayed at a friend's house this weekend and he had one of these. I was immediately impressed with the design. I thought the aluminum frame was a real standout design. Made it look cool and no doubt added a feeling of durability.

Another thing I noticed right away was that he had it on a hobby table with what appeared to be several sets of prop blades... I found out that the main blades will eventually chip and break after so many crashes. What I thought was very cool was that he was using the replacement blades as guides to cut out new ones from some old window blinds. The blades have almost the same curvature as the blinds. Blinds are VERY cheap at the big stores, and one small blind will probably yield a lifetime supply of blades!

I did not attempt to fly it, but he flew it around a bit. The trim was off because the tail rotor was missing one of it's blades as well, and he said it handled funny with only half power.

Well, I think I want to buy one of these myself. I've always wanted to get into RC helicopters, and this looks like a pretty inexpensive way to get a feel for it. Not much like a big one, but tons of fun to get started.
